Ella Beck, Master’s Student

Known for her warm and welcoming personality, Ella creates a safe and validating space for her patients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges as they work towards their goals of well-being. Her empathetic nature fosters a strong therapeutic alliance, meeting patients where they are and supporting them in their journey toward healing and personal growth.

As a pre-licensed master’s student, Ella plays a vital role in providing individual counseling sessions to teen, adult, and young adult patients. She has a passion for helping her patients navigate life challenges including:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Stress

  • Life transitions

  • Stuckness/lack of purpose

  • Relationships

  • Family history

  • Spirituality

  • Women’s issues

  • College

  • Self-esteem and shame

Ella strongly believes that everyone has the power within themselves to make positive change and live a fulfilling life.  Because of this, she focuses on client-directed goals and session structure. Combined with the power of a strong therapeutic relationship, she also employs practical methods based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Ella sees each person as unique and tailors sessions to her patients’ individual strengths and personalities. She also integrates a perspective of holistic wellness, including mental health, relational health, physical health, and spiritual health.

Outside of the office, Ella enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her golden retriever, Watson.

Ella offers clinical services under the supervision of Hunter Teets, MA LPC VA license #0701005525.

Fees: Base rate is $85. As a master’s student under supervision, she is currently unable to accept insurance.
