Supervision

Hunter was fortunate to do his training at the Denver Family Institute, known in Colorado for having the best clinical training in the state, where he graduated with honors for clinical excellence. He delights in providing high quality supervision and care to residents seeking licensure. Working as a counselor can be difficult and asks us to face our own shadows and hurts. Hunter comes from a supportive strengths based perspective to guide people through the process of becoming a licensed counselor as a whole person doing effective work. He provides both group and individual supervision to residents. These services are offered at a rate of $65 for per hour for groups and $150 per hour for individual. Hunter can offer a reduced fee for people working with underserved communities.

Therapy

Hunter has been helped by his own therapy and is a firm believer in therapists continuing with their own healing throughout the lifespan. Hunter enjoys working with therapists and healers of all stripes and takes great care to address the complexities of dual relationships in a small community.

Clinical Consultation

Burnout happens for a lot of reasons and a big reason is feeling ineffective in our work. Hunter provides as needed consultation to individuals and groups to address complex cases opening up a return to more effective work with patients. These services are offered at a rate of $150 an hour.

Business Consultation

Before working as a counselor Hunter worked as a Civil/Environmental Engineer and enjoys the strategic/logistical side of running a business. He helps people clarify the goals for their therapy practice and find the tools and support they need to get reach those goals. He has accumulated a network of professional services that can make the work of running a practice easier so you can do more of the work you love and less of the work you don’t enjoy. These services are offered at a rate of $300 an hour or in packages of 3 sessions for $800 or 5 sessions for $1300. I offer these services in packages because I often see that, unless there is a clear question to address, a commitment to 3 or 5 sessions yields much more successful results than an individual consulting session.
