  • Virginia Free Farm

    Virginia Free Farm provides FREE nutritious, responsibly produced healthy food to neighbors in need. They also supply plants, seeds, chickens, and ducks to community gardens with an eye toward making foodshed more resilient & self sufficient.

  • Open Path Collective

    Open Path serves clients who lack health insurance or whose health insurance doesn’t provide adequate mental health benefits. These clients also cannot afford current market rates for therapy (between $80-200 a session). Open Path helps members access their choice of affordable in-person or online care from a vetted mental health professional.

  • Region Ten Wellness Recovery Center

    The Wellness Recovery Center (WRC) is a short-term residential crisis stabilization program for adults experiencing an acute mental health crisis. The WRC program is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals who provide person-centered, recovery-based support in a safe, comfortable, peaceful, home-like environment.

  • The Women's Initiative

    The mission of The Women’s Initiative is to provide women with effective counseling, social support and education so they can transform life challenges into positive change and growth.

  • PFLAG Blue Ridge

    PFLAG is made up of parents, families, friends, and allies uniting with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender loved ones to promote support, education, and advocacy.

    They offer monthly community groups that provide support and education, a lending library, and opportunities for members to volunteer in the community in advocacy and outreach efforts.

  • Side by Side

    Side by Side is dedicated to creating supportive communities where Virginia’s LGBTQ+ youth can define themselves, belong, and flourish. They offer various supports for LGBTQ+ youth, families, and friends, and various ways to become more involved in your community.

  • On Our Own

    On Our Own provides free peer support, self-help, education, guidance, advocacy, and referral services for adults who have acknowledge that they have experienced significant problems in their lives due to challenges with mental health, substance use, or trauma.

  • Charlottesville Free Clinic

    The Charlottesville Free Clinic provides free medical and dental care and free prescriptions for un-insured and under-insured adults in the greater Charlottesville community.

  • SARA

    SARA works to eliminate sexual violence and its impacts through education, advocacy, and support services. They work with child and adult survivors of all genders, as well as nonoffending friends and family of survivors of any kind of sexual violence.
