Martha Madigan, Master’s Student
I believe people are good, and that much of the pain we carry, and the patterns that keep us stuck, come from losing connection to that core truth. My approach is rooted in attachment theory and the understanding that healing happens in the context of safe, connected relationships. I offer a warm, compassionate space where your pain is honored, your story is heard, and you don’t have to navigate your healing alone. I believe that when held with gentle curiosity, our stories, wounds and most tender places can become powerful sources of strength, clarity, and self-understanding.
I’m especially drawn to the ways attachment dynamics, religious and spiritual formation, and sexual identity shape how we relate to ourselves and others. These parts of our lives often carry deep meaning, inner conflict, and the potential for profound transformation. Whether you’re deconstructing inherited beliefs, questioning aspects of your identity, or learning to set and hold boundaries, I’ll meet you with warmth, curiosity, and care.
My work is trauma-informed and relational, grounded in the belief that every person deserves dignity, respect, and access to mental health care. I’m committed to helping dismantle systemic barriers and to creating an inclusive, affirming space where all parts of you are welcome.
Therapy with me is collaborative and rooted in your inherent worth. Together, we’ll gently explore what no longer serves you and reconnect you to the most resilient, authentic version of yourself.
